A beautiful African Wild Dog attentive listens to the calls of another pack member. The large rounded ears that are lined with numerous muscles, allow the dogs to swivel their ears like large satellite dishes, picking up the most subtle sound waves. Communication is key to their hunting success; the pack constantly let one another know both their location as well as that of their prey, making the African Wild Dog one of the most successful predators in Africa.
