    Before the storm

    Etosha, Namibia. 2018

A Giraffe makes its way across Fishers’ Pan in Etosha National Park as a dramatic storm approaches. The smell of petrichor fills the air, as the first rains of the season touch the dry earth, a welcome relief from the debilitating drought. The vast African landscape, and the world’s tallest mammal, are both dwarfed by this incredible sky. As the seasons change, the rain brings with it new life.
