A large bull elephant feeds on a branch from a Camel Thorn Acacia (Vachellia erioloba) tree. Escaping the heat of the day these huge males seek shelter in the shade of the large thorn trees. The harsh light casts shadows from the delicate leaves on the white textured tusk.
